Stephanie graduated from the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2023 as a Dental Hygienist and joined Poynters Road Dental Practice in 2023.
She has treated a range of patients with periodontal disease (gum disease) and offers advanced surface stain removal procedures such as air polish. She plays a vital role in the promotion of good oral health, aiming to empower her patients with the knowledge and tools they need for a healthy and confident smile. She has had experience in treating anxious and nervous patients and her approach is centered on creating a calming and supportive environment to alleviate anxiety.
Stephanie loves spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys learning new things and enjoys swimming and walking.
Aashni graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2021. She has also completed her MFDS RCS(Eng) exams.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, in particular she enjoys restorative dentistry, paediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Her calm and friendly nature helps put nervous patients at ease.
She is an all rounded dentist having recently completed a year working at Northwick Park Hospital in their busy maxillofacial unit and also has previous experience working in the community dental services.
In her free time Aashni likes to play badminton, baking and dance.
Sabrina qualified in Brazil in 2008 and went on to gain experience in aesthetic dentistry in one of the most renowned dental practices in the country.
Following relocation to the UK she completed a Master of Science degree in Dental Public Health with distinction at Queen Mary University of London with a dissertation about the effect of gum disease in pregnant women.
Sabrina has a calm and caring manner. She works as a general practitioner and has particular interest in restorative dentistry, especially composites.
Outside dentistry, Sabrina practices martial arts, enjoys cycling and hiking, and is developing a keen interest in gardening.
Zahira qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Karolinska Institute Sweden in 2006 with a bachelor degree of Odontological Profylaxis. As Zahira was brought up in Sweden, she worked as a hygienist over there before moving to the UK. Zahira loves the challenges and opportunities that the ever changing industry brings and strives to deliver the best possible care for her patients.
The importance of teamwork at Poynters Road Dental Practice, as well as the family ethos is what Zahira loves and values the most about working within the team.
In Zahira’s spare time she loves to spend time with her family, her husband and her two young boys.
Having initially graduated from King’s College London with a BSc in Neuroscience in 2010, Fahima then went on to complete her BDS with honours from King’s College London in 2017. Fahima is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery having completed the MFDS RCS (Eng) exams.
Fahima enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and the best part of her job is treating patients from varying backgrounds and ages. Fahima's work ethos is centred around prevention and helping patients overcome dental anxiety as a key factor to improving access to dental treatment and maintaining a healthy mouth. Fahima is an accredited Invisalign Go provider.
Outside of dentistry, Fahima has two little boys that keep her on her toes and she enjoys keeping fit and active.
Rheeya qualified from King’s College London in 2019, and joined the practice in 2019. She has recently completed her MJDF Part 1, and is hoping to complete the second part in the near future.
Rheeya enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in composites, crowns and onlays, attending advanced courses in these fields. She has a calm and friendly approach and enjoys dealing with nervous patients putting them at ease. Rheeya also enjoys treating children, ensuring they have a pleasant visit to the dentist.
Outside of work Rheeya enjoys travelling, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr Shah qualified from Manchester University in 1989. He is the principal of three multi-surgery practices and a trainer for the East of England deanery for newly qualified graduate dentists. He has completed the post graduate certificate in Dental Education.
Dr Shah has also undertake a one year postgraduate course in Cosmetic and Restorative dentistry with Dr Chris Orr past president of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentist.
Dr Shah is a certified Invisalign Provider for clear braces, Inman Aligner brace system and Six Months Smile.
Dr Shah is commited to ongoing professional development and post graduate education.
Outside of dentistry Dr Shah enjoys travelling, take a keen interest in sports and is kept busy by his young family.
